Declan’s practice focuses on the defense of civil litigation claims, including general negligence, bodily injury, and uninsured motorist claims, as well as commercial litigation.

Prior to joining the Fisher Rushmer team, Declan began his legal career in California, where he defended construction professionals in defects claims and the County of Los Angeles in liability claims brought against law enforcement. Declan also gained experience representing plaintiffs in bodily injury claims.

After relocating back to his native Florida, Declan continued his career in defending matters involving general liability, negligence and intentional torts, catastrophic injury, construction defects, first-party property damage, and employment claims, as well as his work on cybersecurity and data privacy.

Raised in Orlando, Declan graduated from the University of Florida with his Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications – TV Production, before earning his Juris Doctor from the Mercer University School of Law.
