How to Respond?

ANSWER:  Prudence, Not "Perfection," Is Called For.

In recent years, there seems to have been an uptick, especially in first party pre-suit assignments, involving the filing of a Civil Remedies Notice (“CRN”).  The CRNs frequently involve an injured party’s (policy holder’s) claim for UM/UIM benefits following an auto accident.

This past holiday season, Fisher Rushmer joined forces with the Orange County Bar Association Young Lawyer Section (OCBA YLS) and other community leaders to sponsor a toy drive to benefit the wonderful students of Washington Shores Elementary, a Title 1 school.

It was an honor again to have Fisher Rushmer support and sponsor the Breakfast of Champions, an annual fundraiser for the Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association, Inc (OCBA).  The fundraising event, held on November 8, 2018, was the 11^th annual Breakfast of Champions, helping to raise support and awareness for those in need of legal assistance in our community but are unable to afford an attorney.

Joe  Amos, Managing Shareholder of Fisher Rushmer, P.A, and last year’s 2017 President of the Central Florida Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), co-chaired the second annual 7th Amendment Symposium: The Right to Trial by Jury. The symposium, presented by the Central Florida Chapter of ABOTA, featured Florida attorneys and local judges.

Hiring an appellate attorney can be stressful. You may have won before the trial court, but the thrill of victory fades once you receive the other side’s Notice of Appeal.
